Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Associate to join our team at the Greater Essex County District School Board. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our schools and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
  • Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Meet the requirements of the CUPE 27 Bargaining Unit.
  • Support the Board's commitment to creating a fair, inclusive, and anti-racist environment.
Qualifications
  • An Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
  • Previous cleaning experience within a school or commercial building (asset).
  • Ability to operate equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  • A satisfactory Police Clearance.
