Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Associate to join our team at the Greater Essex County District School Board. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks in schools and other facilities
  • Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
  • Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cleaning experience in a school or commercial setting (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Satisfactory Police Clearance
