We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Associate to join our team at the Greater Essex County District School Board. As a Custodial Services Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Operate equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
  • Assist with special events and projects, such as deep cleaning and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
  • Meet all safety and security protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment and following emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or commercial setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
