Job Summary

This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll be responsible for working directly with internal and external clients to gather and document business and functional requirements. Your focus will be on IT solutions, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand IT business processes, create process maps, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Additionally, you'll prepare IT business requirements documents, workflows, training materials, and other documentation related to IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit clear business requirements with a focus on IT solutions and evaluate scope considering desired outcomes
  • Active management of scope and requirement updates to balance changing business needs with delivery solutions
  • Understand IT business processes and create process map/flow diagrams to visualize IT workflows
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Prepare IT business requirements documents, workflows, training, and other documentation related to IT systems, as required
  • Perform IT data analysis and modeling to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for IT process improvement
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of IT test plans and test cases
  • Liaise with vendors and business stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet their requirements
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent years of experience)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of business analysis experience in SAP technology projects
  • Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required (Word, SharePoint & PowerPoint, Visio is an asset)
