The estimated annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to $200,000, depending on experience and performance. In addition to a base salary, you will also earn commissions and fees based on your sales and business development activities.

Job Description

As an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing personalized investment advice and guidance, and creating customized portfolios and wealth plans to meet their complex financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILDING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
  • PROVIDING INVESTMENT ADVICE: Develop and implement tailored investment strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • CUSTOMIZING PORTFOLIOS: Create and manage client portfolios, leveraging RBC's extensive investment and wealth management resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • EXPERIENCE IN WEALTH MANAGEMENT: 4-6 years of outbound sales experience in wealth management or a related field.
  • CREDENTIALS: Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent, and have a passion for financial planning and portfolio management.
  • SOCIAL SKILLS: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
