Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Yukon. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical care services for residents/clients with communication and/or swallowing disorders in long-term care and homecare settings.

Your Role

You will be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing direct care and consultations to enhance, maintain, improve, or restore the client/resident's ability to function at an optimal level. Your duties will include planning, directing, delivering, and evaluating services through direct assessment, interventions, consultations, and assignment of task components to Rehabilitation Assistants.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current registration or licensure with a Canadian Professional regulatory body for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist providing assessments and treatments in a community environment and/or long-term care setting is an asset
  • Experience supervising support staff is an asset
