About the Role

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team in Atlantic Canada. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project managers to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, tradespeople, and equipment operators.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project data, including financials, schedules, and quality metrics.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on site supervision and project coordination.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
