About the Role

The UNHCR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Individual Giving Intern to support the development team in securing funding for our humanitarian programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in researching and identifying potential donors and funding opportunities
  • Help develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns
  • Support the creation of fundraising materials, such as reports and proposals
  • Provide administrative assistance to the development team

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field, such as business, communications, or non-profit management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising or a related field
  • Knowledge of donor management software and fundraising strategies
  • Fluency in English and/or other languages

Working Arrangements

This is a home-based position, and the successful candidate will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
