Job Title: Fundraising Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Coordinator to join our team at the Canadian Red Cross. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for operationalizing our stewardship strategy, working closely with senior management to implement department workflows, and coordinating timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement stewardship plans, including department workflows and coordination of timelines.
  • Submit briefs to creative services or agencies according to established strategy and plan.
  • Review copy and artwork for all stewardship materials, ensuring all approvals are procured according to schedule.
  • Work with internal teams to gather content and images for collateral.
  • Participate in meetings with key stakeholders to discuss planning and upcoming campaigns.
  • Serve as primary contact with relationship management stewardship staff to align strategies or develop materials.
  • Review and approve data populated samples in a timely manner to confirm data appears correctly in relation to established segments and test files.
  • Resolve production issues with vendors using influence, mediation, persuasion, or negotiation.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a 3-year post-secondary program in marketing, communications, or fundraising.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in fundraising, marketing, or project management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to navigate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex information and communicate it to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with digital or direct marketing.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and hands-on implementation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to manage effectively in a changing environment with multiple conflicting demands.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) an asset.
  • Knowledge of Blackbaud CRM database an asset.
