Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the Philanthropy program, including financial reconciliation, reporting, and analytics.
- Maintain and update the donor database system.
- Connect with donors and answer questions in a timely manner.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities.
- Manage donor relationships and maintain accurate donor records.
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events.
- Coordinate volunteer activities related to fundraising initiatives.
- Maintain and support the development of fundraising materials and communications.
- Assist in grant writing and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure fundraising goals are met.
- Monitor fundraising trends and best practices in the healthcare philanthropy sector.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized fundraising program and/or completion of a college diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Two to three years of experience in fundraising or a related field.
- Interest in engaging in Trust-Based Philanthropy principles.
- Experience with donor management software.
- Experience with social media and digital fundraising platforms.
- Knowledge of CRA guidelines for charitable organizations.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team in a collaborative virtual office environment.
