Program Manager, Facility Services Specialist

About the Role
The City of Richmond is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager, Facility Services to join our team. As a key member of our Facility Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assessment and quality control of our facility maintenance programs, including design and construction, service agreements, vendor contracts administration, and lease agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the development and implementation of facility maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Conduct financial analysis and budgeting to ensure effective and efficient expenditure of allocated funds.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement business improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and other documentation to support decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- 7 years of recent related experience in facility management, engineering, or a related field.
- University degree in a relevant discipline or business administration.
- Registration with relevant professional associations (P. Eng., AIBC, RPA, CET, FMP) is preferred.
Working Conditions
The work is performed primarily in an office environment with some duties performed in the field.
