Position Overview

Great Canadian Entertainment is in search of a skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of maintenance across various facilities, ensuring the structural integrity and operational efficiency of our properties. This role will report directly to the Director of Engineering and Energy Management.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to employee performance assessments and setting objectives
  • Organizing, supervising, and evaluating team members
  • Delegating work assignments for shifts
  • Aiding in the execution of strategic maintenance plans
  • Conducting inspections and maintaining heating, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Engaging in complex maintenance and equipment installation initiatives
  • Compiling efficiency reports and suggesting enhancements
  • Assisting in the preparation of capital improvement budget proposals
  • Authorizing requisitions for maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned or required

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory maintenance role
  • Post-secondary education in HVAC or a relevant combination of education and experience is preferred
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Certification in SIR, Smart Serve, or IGB
  • A valid driver's license with the ability to travel as necessary
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and strong motivation, customer service, and time management skills
  • Ability to pass a criminal record and credit check as required
