Role Overview

The Facilities Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and efficient building management. Key duties include:

  • Scheduling and executing preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Monitoring control systems and responding to mechanical alarms.
  • Overseeing HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinating various maintenance activities and obtaining contractor estimates.
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and maintaining the building's exterior.
  • Addressing tenant service requests and emergencies.

This position also involves fostering strong relationships with tenants and contractors, assisting in budget preparation, managing tenant relocations, ensuring contract compliance, and generating monthly operational reports. The role requires on-call emergency support, adherence to company policies, and other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, DDC, BAS, and life safety protocols.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Familiarity with maintenance software, such as Angus Anywhere, is advantageous.

Preference will be given to candidates holding a 4th class power engineering certificate.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $75,000-$80,000, along with a 5% performance bonus. Additional benefits include:
