We are seeking a compassionate Caregiving Support Specialist to provide essential care to clients in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.
About the Role
In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Provide support with medication administration and daily exercises, helping clients maintain their physical health.
- Monitor client's health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals, ensuring timely intervention and care.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering strong relationships and trust with clients.
- Assist with light household duties, such as cleaning and meal preparation, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Canada, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to caregiving.
- Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, showcasing your skills and ability to work with diverse clients.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients, enabling you to build trust and provide effective care.
- Physical ability to perform lifting and supporting movements, ensuring your safety and the well-being of clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, accommodating the needs of clients and the community.
