We are seeking an Energy Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Sault Ste. Marie, providing support to the HR department for recruitment, health & safety, training, and employee engagement.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will provide administrative support for recruiting and onboarding processes, including job postings, arranging interviews, preparing new hire paperwork, and managing recruitment files.

  • Maintain electronic database of employee files and training records for new and existing employees.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and distributing policies, procedures, job descriptions, and correspondence.
  • Support Committee Meetings, including minutes, action plans, and follow-ups.
  • Manage Company HR initiatives and programs.
  • Respond to day-to-day employee requests and HR-related queries.
About You

The ideal candidate has:

  • Post-secondary studies, preferably in business or human resources administration, or related education and experience.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all HR information.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and being a strong multitasker.
  • Superior organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude and absolute commitment to customer service.
  • HRIS administration experience is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Publisher).
About the Role

This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, estimated at $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
