Kitchen Manager Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team at Campechano. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient kitchen workflows to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as hospitality or culinary arts.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and train staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions:
- Public transportation available for easy commuting.
- 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as needed.
