Job Title: VP of Sales and Business Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Sales and Business Development to join our team at Global X Investments Canada Inc. This is a unique opportunity to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth in the Canadian market.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including branch managers and retail clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager and the broader sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Proactively develop and evolve in a high-performance work environment
Requirements:
  • Established relationships within the territory
  • Proven track record of success in sales to retail clients within the specified region
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create a positive rapport with clients over the phone, in person, and in a virtual meeting
  • The desire to work within an effective team to create and build a successful business
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and execute sales plans
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively for work
  • Understanding of Canadian financial markets
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration
  • Completion of (or enrolment in) a financial services program leading to a designation is an asset
