Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating multi-line claims with a focus on property (commercial and personal lines) claims through loss investigation. They will negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of functional and technical claims handling experience in large loss, commercial claims and liability
- Ideal candidate will have a construction and property background specializing in project management, quantification and appraisal
- Commercial policy interpretation and experience making recommendations to the market
- Licensed or working towards CIP and/or FCIP designation
- Strong report writing skills
- Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth
