About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Arts Professional to join our team at RAJA THAI AND INDIAN CUISINE. As an Ethnic Food Preparation Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including those with food allergies or intolerances, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy objects.
Working Conditions
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
