Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and prepare menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of ethnic cuisine, ensuring that dishes are consistently prepared to our high standards.
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients to create authentic ethnic flavors.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, organized, and meet health and safety standards.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare high-quality ethnic dishes.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the resources needed to meet customer demand.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
