We are seeking an experienced Business Development Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting Midas franchisees in achieving sales and profitability goals. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth, improve store operations, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth and Profitability: Collaborate with Midas franchisees to develop and execute sales growth plans, focusing on increasing car counts, tire sales, and customer-centricity.
- Operational Excellence: Provide coaching and guidance to franchisees on best practices, process improvements, and operational efficiency enhancements.
- Change Management: Facilitate the implementation of new policies and procedures, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Cold Calling and Business Development: Participate in cold calling activities to engage with independent tire and auto repair dealers, exploring opportunities for conversion or sale to existing Midas franchisees.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Excellent public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with franchisees and other stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Prior experience in multi-unit retail operations, including district/area management, store management, business planning, competitive analysis, and retail execution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss (P&L) in a competitive automotive environment.
- Familiarity with operational design and change management principles.
- A customer-focused mindset and high level of professional integrity.
- Exceptional telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
