Job Overview

At Sea Mar Community Health Centers, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist II, III, or Licensed Professional to join our team. As a key member of our diverse and expanding program, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals in need.

About the Role

The Mental Health Therapist provides diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning. You will also lead groups and provide individual counseling, ensuring a supportive and enriching clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and case management
  • Collaborate with medical providers to establish a holistic approach to patient care
  • Lead groups and facilitate educational sessions
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as policy development and compliance monitoring
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, or social work, including coursework in psychological diagnostics. Additionally, you should have:

  • Four or more years of clinical experience
  • An active license from the Washington State Department of Health
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
  • A current TB test
