We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. As a General Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional registered nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 based on location and experience.

Job Description

As a General Duty Nurse, you will work under the supervision of the Manager, Health Services, to provide independent nursing services, administer prescribed medical treatments, and lead the healthcare team. You will also facilitate patient care and discharge, demonstrating a commitment to the vision, values, goals, and objectives of the region/facility/unit.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Preference given to those with previous nursing experience and knowledge of Women's Health, including Maternal/Newborn, Labour and Delivery, and/or Gynecology.
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
  • Maintenance of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) is essential.
  • Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM), is preferred.

Benefits

Successful applicants may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 until 2025 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU collective agreement.

This role requires moderate to heavy physical effort.
