Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Laura's Steakhouse. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports on departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
