Culinary Manager Job Description

Hong Kong Restaurant is seeking an experienced Culinary Manager to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and excellent leadership skills.

Job Summary:

The Culinary Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs, ensuring profitability and quality.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements, collaborating with chefs and suppliers.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Purposefully prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Accommodate customers with dietary restrictions by preparing special dishes.
  • Regularly inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Mentor kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, guaranteeing seamless execution of services.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the culinary industry.

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
