Program Coordinator, Banff International String Quartet Competition and Festival

The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the Banff International String Quartet Competition and Festival.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate all administrative and logistical aspects of the festival, tour, and competition
- Assist in planning and delivery of events, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion
- Manage communications with stakeholders, including ticket buyers, guests, and participants
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and special requirements for event participants
- Prepare and format program details, manage music loans, and proof content for media needs
- Assist in creating marketing materials, including newsletters and house programs
- Collaborate with departments to ensure event success and handle post-event tasks
- Diploma in Events Management or related field
- Experience in planning and delivering large-scale events
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and ability to multitask and make prompt decisions
- Tact in dealing with directors, faculty, and participants
- Ability to remain calm under stress and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
- Term position from November 18, 2024 to September 30, 2025
- Unionized, hourly support staff position with benefits
