Job Opportunity

The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the Banff International String Quartet Competition and Festival.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all administrative and logistical aspects of the festival, tour, and competition
  • Assist in planning and delivery of events, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion
  • Manage email and contact management, including tools such as smartsheets and sharepoint
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, and accommodation arrangements for participants and stakeholders
  • Handle financial processing, including billing, invoicing, and expense claims
  • Prepare and format program details, manage music loans, and proof content for various media needs
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams for event promotion and sponsor recognition
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Events Management or related field
  • Experience in planning and delivering large-scale special events
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, and scheduling software
