Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Marriott International. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are presented in a clean and attractive manner.
  • Communicate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and that guests receive excellent service.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the banquet area.
  • Respond to and fulfill special requests from guests.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a banquet or food and beverage role.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and presentation.
