Wine Consultant Job Description

At Otter Co-op, we're seeking a skilled Wine Consultant to join our team. As a Wine Consultant, you'll play a key role in providing strategic direction, coaching, and training for our team members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement educational programs in our liquor store for both team members and guests.
  • Support private functions in the tasting center.
  • Maintain a booking calendar for the tasting rooms.
  • Contribute to the team in living our Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence.
Requirements:
  • Experience hosting wine seminars and public events is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to manage computer files efficiently.
  • Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings till 8 pm.
