Physiotherapy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with residents to develop personalized treatment plans that promote mobility and overall health.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physiotherapy assessments and creating treatment plans, providing clinical treatments, and educating residents and their families on healthcare management. You will also be required to document treatments and progress reports, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments and re-assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality clinical physiotherapy treatments to residents.
- Educate residents and their families on health care management, including self-care needs and physical and emotional health.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatments and progress reports.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Supervise Physiotherapy Assistants and students/interns, providing clear instructions and guidance.
- Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and good standing.
- Professional License Insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a Retirement home is an asset.
- ADP authorization is considered an asset.
- Current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is required.
