Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Specialist

The Physiotherapist plays a vital role in our community healthcare team, collaborating with colleagues to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
As a member of our clinical team, the Physiotherapist will educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers regarding health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management.
The Physiotherapist will also provide supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of Physiotherapy Assistants.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist who possesses:
- Graduation from a university with a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
- Continuing education course in the area of orthopedics is an asset
- Maintain current certification in CPR
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset
This is a Permanent Full-Time (100%) position, 75 Hours Bi-Weekly, with a competitive hourly rate of $42.89.
