Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

The Physiotherapist plays a vital role in a community healthcare setting, collaborating with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives. This position requires assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers regarding health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management.
This role also involves providing supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of Physiotherapy Assistants.
About YouWe are seeking a qualified candidate with the following qualifications:
- Graduation from a university with a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
- Continuing education course in the area of orthopedics is an asset
- Maintain current certification in CPR
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset
This is a Permanent Full-Time (100%) position, 75 Hours Bi-Weekly, with a competitive hourly rate of $42.89.
