We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi 990. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that our team is equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, minimizing waste and optimizing our kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Supervision: Work under the supervision of our Head Chef, taking direction and guidance to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of concentration.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Personal Qualities: Dependability, team player, and a strong work ethic.
