We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at KISSO SUSHI & RAMEN. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi and ramen dishes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to food safety and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure kitchen and work areas are clean and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
