Content Specialist, Ecommerce

The Content Specialist, Ecommerce is a pivotal role focused on the coordination of on- and off-figure product photography for our digital retail channels. Reporting directly into the Digital Content Manager and working alongside our SVP Digital Retail, this role is highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration and partnership with stakeholders across the business including Merchandising, Design, Marketing and Creative Services, as well as working hand-in-hand with external vendors and agencies.
As the point of contact for all product "Essentials" photography production, this role will be responsible for both forecasting our shooting schedule and bringing these shoots to life. This includes inventory and sample tracking, pre-production, shoot days, post-production and organizing external vendors as needed. The successful candidate for this role is a self-starter and team player. They must be highly organized, eager to learn and just as passionate about day-to-day administration as they are about fashion, style and digital trends. As part of the Digital Content team, this role will also include supporting campaign, editorial and commercial content generation for our Ecommerce experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Essentials photography process end-to-end
- Manage overall budget with the support of the Digital Content Manager and process all internal and external costs for all shoots
- Get alignment from internal stakeholders on shot list, recommended talent, timelines and final asset delivery
- Partnership with internal Creative agency and/or external agencies on coordinating and booking photoshoot logistics, inclusive of location, talent and crew as applicable
- Manage day-of shoot schedules and post-production retouching schedules through to completion
- Work closely with Merchandising on forecasted shoots
- Build relationships with cross-functional partners
- Inspire and motivate the team throughout the creative process to drive projects to final delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers
Requirements:
- University Degree or College Diploma in Business, Advertising, Fashion Communication or Marketing-related field
- Superior Computer Skills: especially MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on photography & video production
- Background in commercial editorial and/or the retail & apparel industry with a strong understanding of digital trends and ecommerce best practices
- Expert Project Coordinator, Account Coordinator or Creative Services Coordinator looking to expand their Production, Digital Content and Ecommerce knowledge
- Advanced communication and problem-solving skills—you're quick to pick up the phone to get to the bottom of any issue
- Highly detail-orientated with organizational and time management skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external clients to develop and negotiate project scopes, timing, and budgets
- Able to effectively communicate objectives, schedules, and action plans to a diverse team
- Highly motivated, passionate with an entrepreneurial spirit
