Nursing Mentorship Opportunity

Shared Health leads the planning and coordination of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba.
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Nursing Mentor to join our team at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. This is a full-time position, working 0.70 FTE with a salary estimated at $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a guide, role model, and advisor for nurses on the unit, department, or program.
- Provide rapid, just-in-time clinical mentorship to support nurse development.
- Collaborate with Clinical Educators and Resource Nurses to ensure competence in nursing practice.
- A minimum of three years of recent applicable clinical nursing experience specific to the unit/program.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience as a preceptor, facilitator, or mentor within the last three years is preferred.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Certification in Adult Education an asset.
