NordaStelo, a leading engineering and consulting firm, seeks a skilled Key Account Manager to expand our relationship with Canadian and global port authorities and related industries. As the main point of contact, you will ensure our engineering services meet their unique needs and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and engineering teams.
  2. Conduct regular needs assessments to identify opportunities for our engineering services to add value to projects.
  3. Collaborate with our engineering and sales teams to create customized solutions addressing industry-specific engineering challenges and requirements.
  4. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached in adherence to company guidelines and pricing strategies.
  5. Monitor and assess customer satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and effectively, striving for continuous improvement in customer experience.
  6. Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue growth targets within the Port account, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities for engineering services.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting Port engineering projects, providing valuable insights.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records, including sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics, presenting regular reports to management.
  9. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of engineering services.
  10. Ensure all business activities, including contracts, follow company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in key account management with a focus on selling engineering services.
  • Strong understanding of Port engineering needs, business operations, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.
