As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in growing our relationship with Canadian and global port authorities, port operators, and related industries.

We are seeking an exceptional individual with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

This exciting opportunity requires frequent travel and interaction with stakeholders, offering the chance to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their unique engineering needs are met and our services align with their project goals.
  2. Client Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments to identify opportunities for our engineering services to add value to projects.
  3. Solution Presentation: Collaborate with our engineering and sales teams to create customized solutions that address industry-specific engineering challenges and requirements.
  4. Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and ensure mutually beneficial agreements are reached, adhering to company guidelines and pricing strategies.
  5. Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and assess customer satisfaction regularly, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
  6. Revenue Growth: Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue growth targets within the Port account.
  7. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact Port engineering projects.
  8. Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records, including sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics.

  • Proven experience in key account management with a focus on selling engineering services.
  • Strong understanding of Port engineering needs, business operations, and industry regulations.

  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

A Competitive Salary Package:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
