Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure their success.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
