About the Role:
The Senior Manager, Sustainability, Packaging Expert will play a key role in driving the company's sustainability efforts, specifically in the area of packaging. This position will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of packaging sustainability strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement packaging sustainability strategies aligned with the company's overall sustainability goals.
- Lead the development of packaging-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for packaging innovation and sustainability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry partners.
- Monitor and report on packaging sustainability performance metrics.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in packaging and sustainability, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of packaging sustainability concepts, including life cycle assessment, waste reduction, and recycling.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
