Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Manager, Packaging to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our global packaging sustainability strategy and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement a comprehensive packaging sustainability strategy that aligns with our company's overall sustainability goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects to drive packaging sustainability initiatives, including the development and implementation of sustainable packaging solutions.
- Communication & Reporting: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and progress against packaging sustainability goals.
Requirements
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of packaging materials, design principles, life cycle analysis, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on sustainability and circularity.
- Skills & Abilities: Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in packaging and sustainability, preferably in the quick service restaurant industry.
