About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Sustainability Consultant, specializing in Mining Sector Impact Assessment. As a key member of our global consulting firm, you will be responsible for delivering strategic consulting advice and excellent value to our clients in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Client Account Directors and Managers to develop commercial strategies and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Provide business value and raise the profile of our capabilities within client organizations.
  • Develop and expand existing client relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice and quality service.
  • Manage business opportunities and use technical expertise to develop proposals and contracting.
  • Lead consulting engagements in impact assessment, technical discipline-specific consulting, and permitting and compliance.
  • Build and grow a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants.
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc in environmental science, engineering, law, or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of experience with capital project delivery, impact assessment, and/or permitting in the mining sector.
  • In-depth understanding of the mining industry, including juniors, mid-tier, and major miners.
  • Demonstrated experience working with federal and provincial legislation and policies in Canada.
  • Business acumen to understand risks and challenges and recognize opportunities for enterprise-wide solutions.
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering multi-million-dollar sales results annually.
  • Established reputation in Canada, including industry and government relationships.
