Job Overview
The Rocky Mountaineer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-line mechanical teams, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, and contributing to the development and implementation of our maintenance vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled trades workers to achieve exceptional results
- Develop and implement metrics to monitor efficiency and quality of workmanship
- Conduct safety and performance audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal partners, external suppliers, and contractors to achieve project goals
- Manage workforce resources effectively to meet operational needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of progressive supervisory experience in a mechanical maintenance or construction environment
- Relevant mechanical or technical certifications or trade school education is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
- Qualification and/or proven knowledge in safe heavy equipment operations such as forklifts, cranes, etc.

- A competitive salary range of $82,000 - $94,300 per annum
