Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team as a Talent Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating HR activities, developing and implementing human resources policies and programs, and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

Responsibilities:

As a Talent Development Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the activities of the HR department to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Developing and implementing human resources policies and programs, including recruitment, training, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Providing guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, such as performance management, benefits, and employee relations
  • Researching and preparing occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Administering benefit plans, employment equity, and other HR programs
  • Coordinating employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Researching employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommending changes
  • Advise senior management on HR-related matters
  • Responding to employee questions and complaints
  • Recruiting and hiring staff

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of human resources principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience in HR or a related field

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
