Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and procedures.
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines, maintain accurate records, and perform data entry.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Correspondence and Communication: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise office and volunteer staff, recruit and hire workers, and oversee the classification and rating of occupations.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts, maintain and manage digital databases, and order office supplies.
  • Performance Reviews and Projects: Conduct performance reviews, assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, and ability to multitask.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with a large caseload, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
