Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Altitude Healthcare Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare providers
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations as needed
  • Office Administration
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
    • Perform data entry and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
    • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train new staff members as needed
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide excellent patient care
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
