About the Job

Paraskevi Serbinis is seeking a caring professional to join our team as a live-in personal care provider. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual to provide personal care services, including assistance with daily living activities, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a live-in setting and able to establish a strong relationship with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to ensure clients' physical and emotional needs are met;
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene;
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients, ensuring they receive nutritious meals;
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, dusting, and vacuuming;
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction;
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items;
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset, but not required;
  • Punctuality, client focus, dependability, and efficient interpersonal skills are essential;
  • Excellent oral communication and initiative are also required;
  • A valid driver's license is an asset;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

Working Conditions

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 CAD, based on industry standards and location. This is a permanent, full-time position, with 40-44 hours per week. The language requirement is English.
