About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Companion to provide exceptional care and companionship to our clients in their homes.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Homemaker Companion. As a key member of our home health care team, you will be responsible for providing various companion services that enable our clients to remain in their residence with dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Companion/Sitter: Provide companionship and support to our clients, including assisting with daily activities such as meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, driving, and running errands.
  • Medication Services: Assist clients with self-administered medications and provide guidance on medication management.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required.
  • Experience as a Homemaker/Companion is an asset, particularly in home or facility settings.
  • Candidates must pass a DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test and demonstrate excellent communication skills in English.
  • A valid driver's license and access to insured transportation are necessary for this role.
  • Initial training will be provided to ensure our companions meet our high standards.
