Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Rehabilitation Assistant in a dynamic community-based setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to clients in their homes, workplaces, gyms, pools, and communities.

  • Perform one-on-one therapy sessions, implementing tailored light fitness or personal training programs in various settings.
  • Develop and implement OT programming, including cognitive rehabilitation and supporting clients towards independent living skills.
  • Support adaptive school function and community integration goals, promoting seamless transitions.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant diploma from a recognized community college or equivalent.
  • Two years of relevant OTA/PTA experience, with knowledge of the rehabilitation approach to client care.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • A valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
