About the Opportunity

The Senior Privacy Compliance Manager role is a strategic position within our global Privacy function, reporting directly to the Group Chief Privacy Officer. This senior professional will lead the development and implementation of Flight Centre Travel Group's privacy management program across their region, ensuring compliance with all applicable local and trans-national legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain FCTG's continuous data privacy program, privacy policies, procedures, and documentation for the processing of personal data.
  • Coordinate activities with appropriate members of the organization (e.g., business leads, process owners, development teams, technology, legal, information security, enterprise risk, ethics and compliance, HR, etc.)
  • Conduct regular compliance assessments to ensure that Flight Centre Travel Group's legal privacy requirements under applicable local laws are being met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a strong background in privacy, data protection, and related legislation, with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar capacity. The successful candidate must have excellent analytical and problem-resolution skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
